How We Function
The Pastor is the God-ordained leader of the local church. It is his responsibility to preach and teach God's Word to the people in his charge and lead them to learn how to pray (Acts 6:1-4). He is responsible to lead the members of the church in their spiritual growth and maturity, bringing them to use the gifts God has given them to minister to others. The Pastor is ultimately responsible to God for the way the church functions.
Deacon's are God's gift to the Pastor, by encouraging him, praying for him, and to the church by performing ministry alongside the Pastor, allowing him to devote his time and effort prayer and the ministry of the Word (preaching/teaching).
Our worship services strive to be structured in such a way that God's presence is felt, His pardon is offered, His purposes are revealed and His power displayed.
Our Sunday Bible Study leaders utilize lesson material that is timely and that seeks to meet the needs of the learner. We firmly believe that group Bible Study is the best way to learn what God wants to teach us.
